Employee Templates

An Employee Template allows a user to set up a specific shift availability, and apply it to multiple agents at one time via the Employee List--Employee Template column. Using an Employee Template where multiple agents share the same start/end times and working days will eliminate entering this same information into each agent’s availability/preference profile.

Access Employee Templates

  1. Select the Employee Templates to display the employee templates screen.
  2. Select Employees from the left-navigation menu.

Create Employee Templates

  1. Select New from Employee Templates.
  2. Enter the name of the employee template in the Template Name field.
  3. Enter a brief description of the employee template in the Description field.
  4. Enter the employee team, or type 0 in the Employee Team field.
  5. Enter the hourly rate, or type 0 in the Hourly Rate field.
  6. Select a site in the Site drop-down menu.
NOTE: Skill Team can be left blank if the template applies to multiple agents on different teams.
  1. Select the Availability/Preferences tab.
  2. Enter the availability details for the template.
NOTE: Fields left blank, or a null value, will not update an employee availability setting.

Availability/Preferences Tab Fields Description
Start Time Enter the start time for a shift.
Variance Select the variance for the Start Time from the drop-down menu (Closest, Fixed, Earlier, Later).
Lunch Start Select the lunch start from the drop-down menu (Earliest, Latest).
Lunch Length Select the lunch length from the drop-down menu.
Shift Profile Select the shift profile to assign to this template.
Fixed Shift ID Enter a fixed shift ID (optional).
  1. Enter the Max # of Days Scheduled in a Row (1-14).
  2. Enter the Max # of Days Scheduled in a Week (1-7).
  3. Select the Use as Default Template (optional).
NOTE: The Variance and Lunch Start are only used by the Monet Scheduling Module.

Modify an Existing Employee Template

  1. From the left-navigation menu, select Employees.
  2. Select the Employee Templates to display the employee templates screen.
  3. In the Template Name drop-down menu, select the template to modify.
NOTE: All fields can be modified except the template name.
  1. Make the changes as required.
  2. Select Save.
NOTE: In order for the new changes to be applied to agents who are assigned to the template, follow the steps below.

Select Reapply.

  1. Select Re-Apply to confirm, or Cancel to cancel.

Delete Employee Template

  1. From the left-navigation menu, select Employees.
  2. Select the Employee Templates option. This displays the employee templates screen.

  3. In the Template Name drop-down menu, select the template to delete.
  4. Select Delete.
  5. Select Save.
NOTE: Once the template has been deleted, it is no longer available. All employees assigned will be set to None.
