The chart for Chapter 2 can be found in Doc Sharing. You will download this chart to your computer, fill it in from the information given in your textbook, or the corresponding online site,  and upload the completed chart in the designated DropBox. Your chart will be returned to you with my comments within the next week. Your grades for all assignments each week can be found in your gradebook. 

Each week you will be completing a chart as a summary of the chapter. Across the top of the chart, you will see the civilizations studied this week, at the side are various aspects of that society. your response in each section should be long enough to explain the category, it should not be just one or two words! Below is a short definition of each category:

People/language: who are the people who settled in this area? what languages did they speak?

Political structure: how was the political system of the civilization organized? who was in charge? what were their responsibilities?

Trade/economy: What was imported and/or exported in this society? How was the economy within the civilization sustained?

Religion: What religion did the people follow? Does your chapter give specific names of the gods/goddesses? What was required of the people as they honored their gods/goddesses?

Literature: What were the writings of this era? Who wrote them and why?

Innovations: What was invented by this civilization? What was unique to this civilization?

Gender Roles:  What was the place of men and of women in this society? Where there specific expectations for the roles men and women played in society?

Personal Point of Interest: What did you find interesting in this chapter? why?
