of Sexual Harassment Training and Policy
This document is to certify that the Employee taking
this on-line training has received and reviewed (1) the company’s
Anti-Harassment Policy and Complaint Procedure and (2) this notice that the Company’s
annual interactive sexual harassment prevention training program does include
the following content.
- An explanation of sexual harassment as a form of unlawful discrimination under local law, consistent with guidance issued by the New York State Department of Labor and the New York State Division of Human Rights, including examples of conduct that would constitute unlawful sexual harassment;
- Information
about federal and statutory provisions concerning sexual harassment and remedies
that are available to victims of sexual harassment;
- Information concerning employees’ rights of redress and all available forums for making and adjudicating complaints, including contact information;
- The prohibition of retaliation and examples of such prohibited conduct;
- Information concerning bystander intervention, including but not limited to any resources that explain how to engage in bystander intervention; and
- Information concerning conduct by supervisors and managers and additional responsibilities for such supervisors and managers in the prevention of sexual harassment.
