Employee Templates

WFO Live maintains an extensive and informative employee (employee) database. This option allows you to edit information for the employees in the workgroup. Employee templates are used to modify agent availability settings.

Create Employee Templates

  1. Select Employee Templates from the Employees left-navigation menu.
  2. Select New from the Employee Templates screen.
  3. Enter the name of the employee template in the Template Name field.
  4. Enter a brief description of the employee template in the Description field.
  5. Enter the employee team or a 1 in the Employee Team field.
  6. Enter the hourly rate or a 0 in the Hourly Rate field.
  7. Select a site in the Site drop-down list.
  8. Select Save.
Employee Templates Fields Description
Min. # of Hours Enter the minimum number of hours that an employee can work for each day when the workgroup is open. When rosters are assigned, Monet will assign an employee only shifts consisting of hours between the minimum and maximum hours for that day. Lunchtime is excluded in the count of hours, but break time is included. For example, a 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. shift with a 30-minute lunch would be considered to be eight hours long.
Max. # Hours Enter the maximum number of hours that an employee can work for each day when the workgroup is open. Earliest Start Enter the earliest start time an employee is available for work each day. If the entry for the first open day is the same as that of the following day, press the enter key to move to that day, which will be populated with the same earliest start time. If you wish to change the earliest start time for the next day, use either the tab key or the down arrow key to move to the next field. 
Latest Start Enter the latest start time an employee is available for work each day. The entry must be later than the entry in the earliest start time for each day. If the entry for the first open day is the same as that of the following day, press the enter key to move to that day, which will be populated with the same latest start time. If you wish to change the latest start time for the next day, use either the tab key or the down arrow key to move to the next field. 
Latest End Enter the latest end time an employee is available for work each day. The entry must be later than the earliest start time and the latest start time for each day.
Weekly Min. Target Enter the minimum number of target hours per week for this employee. The minimum is least amount of hours the agent can work (for example: 5 days x 4 hrs = 20 hours for the week). 
Weekly Max Target Enter the maximum number of target hours per week for this employee. The minimum and maximum can be the same or can be expressed by a range of hours (e.g., 30, 40). Maximum hours must be equal to or greater than the minimum hours.
Monthly Min Target Enter the minimum number of target hours per month for this employee. The minimum is least amount of hours the agent can work, 20 hours a week x 4 weeks = 80 hours for the month. 
Monthly Max Target Enter the maximum number of target hours per month for this employee. The minimum and maximum can be the same or can be expressed by a range of hours (e.g., 160, 200). Example 40 hours x 4 weeks = 160 hours.
Start Time Enter the preferred start time.
Shift Profile Enter the Shift Profile to use.  Shift Profiles can be the agent's existing shifts or potential shifts you wish to allow.
Fixed Shift ID Assigns a specific shift to an agent.
Max # of Days Scheduled in a Row (1-14) Enter the maximum number of days an agent can be scheduled in a row.  Value can be from 1 to 14 days in a row.
Max # of Days Scheduled in a Week (1-7) Enter the maximum number of days an agent can be scheduled in a week.  Value can be from 1 to 7 days in a row.
NOTE: All fields left blank or null will not update the corresponding employee settings.

Modify Employee Templates

  1. Select Employee Templates from the Employees left-navigtion menu.
  2. Select the template to modify from the Template Name drop-down menu.
NOTE: All fields can be modified except for template name.
  1. Modify fields as required.
  2. Select Save.
NOTE: Fields you do not wish to edit can be set to blank or null. When assigned to an agent, the template will not change the agent availability settings.

Delete Employee Template

  1. Select Employee Templates from the Employees left-navigation menu.
  2. Select the template to delete in the Template Name drop-down menu.
  3. Select Delete
  4. Select Save.
