Description

BIB 5113: Old Testament Prophets focuses on the structure and context (historical, political, social, and religious) of each prophetic book, major theological passages/issues, and the application of these texts to the life of a New Testament believer. The prophets proclaimed God's program for Israel and the nations during the monarchy, anticipating the redemptive work of Christ whose prophesied life and death would secure salvation for the world.
