Your Assignment

For this assignment, you will prepare a synthetic chart of Haggai, recording in visual form the book's context, content, and structure. Note that this assignment should be based on your personal, inductive study, using only your unmarked Bible (no study Bibles).

 Steps

1. Complete the assigned readings for this unit as specified in the work sequence.

2. Identify the major seams or divisions of the book of Haggai.

3. In a Microsoft Word document, chart the book of Haggai using the format established in the Course Notes. Make sure you do the following:

• Title the chart with a label that represents the book's general theme.
• Include introductory information at the top (setting, date, etc.).
• Summarize the book's message in less than 20 words.
• Assign a title for each section, noting the relevant verses.
• Include a brief summary of the content and meaning of each section.
• Close with footnotes for material quoted/adapted from another source (if any).

Your grade will be calculated according to the elements specified in the Synthetic Chart Rubric.

4. After you have submitted your paper and the due date for the assignment has passed, your faculty member will make the Haggai lecture available. Watch the lecture.
