As humans, we struggle to understand God's plan and work in our world, particularly in our own lives. In the end, such futile attempts often result in anxiety and frustration. The life and message of Habakkuk provides an example for us, combining authentic prayer (with bold questions!) yet joyful faith in God.
For this assignment, you will write a paper about faith in suffering.
1. Complete the assigned readings for this unit as specified in the work sequence.
2. In a Microsoft Word document, write a reflection of at least 1,000 words (4 pages) on the issue of faith in suffering. Trace Habakkuk's conversation with God, and include answers to the following questions (with Scripture references):
