ASI in Schools: Foundations of Ayres Sensory Integration for School-Based Practice

Location: Virtual Asynchronous and Synchronous Sessions

Through the self-paced virtual lessons and live mentoring workshops, participants will learn the core components of Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) theory as well as the impacts of sensory integration challenges on participation in school. OTPs will gain a better understanding of when and how to apply concepts of Ayres Sensory Integration® to support student engagement, participation, and function across all 3 tiers of MTSS in the school setting.

Who Can Enroll in ASI in Schools: Licensed OTs and COTAs

Required Attendance

In order to receive your certificate, participants must attend all five live virtual mentoring sessions. For the October 2026 cohort, the live mentoring sessions are hosted on the following dates. By enrolling in the course, you are confirming you can attend all sessions:

Course Materials

All course handouts, worksheets, zoom links, and lessons will be provided via the course home page in Edvance360. Please check there for any necessary information.

Cancellation and Attendance Policy

• Cancellation requests received at least 30 days before the launch date of the course are eligible for a full refund less a $50 administrative fee.
• Cancellation requests received 15-29 days before the launch date of the course are eligible for a 50% refund.
• Cancellation requests received less than 15 days before the launch date of the course are ineligible for a refund.
• There will be no cancellations/refunds offered after the user has accessed lessons via the learning management system.
• Rescheduling: Reschedule requests received at least 30 days before the course launch date can be accommodated once per participant and are subject to availability.
