MODULE 3: COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT IN ASI (Synchronous (sync) Virtual)
November 12-14 and December 11, 2021
Location: Zoom virtual meeting room.
Synchronous (sync) Virtual M3 is a livestream four-day course, developed as an option for therapists who wish to complete their Certificate in ASI during the COVID-19 pandemic. This version of M3 has been designed to approximate the experience of the usual onsite M3, focusing on comprehensive assessment in ASI. This course provides mentorguided practice and review of all aspects of sensory integration with a variety of assessments, introduced in the online Module 2. Participants will be able to clarify any questions they have about the information presented in the online instruction, and practice assessment administration and scoring with peers. Zoom classrooms with whole and small group teaching are utilized, with frequent opportunities for real-time practice and active learning.
Please contact Dr. Kelly Auld-Wright with any questions at email@example.com.

WHO CAN ENROLL IN MODULE 3?
Module 3 is open to healthcare professionals with at least bachelor level equivalent college/university degrees in occupational therapy, speech pathology, physical therapy, psychology, or medicine. You must complete Module 2 before attending Module 3.
To receive the final certificate, learners must document the completion of a comprehensive assessment of sensory integration with at least two typically developing children and one child who has been identified as having concerns. Due to the accessibility of the EASI in terms of cost, age range, and international applicability, the main assignments of the program will be geared toward these newly developed tests. A checklist of items needed for learning, practicing, administering, and scoring the EASI will be provided in the resources section of CLASI's assessment Modules (Modules 2 & 3). The estimated total cost for the EASI items is $200-$300.
Participants in the CLASI CASI who have access to SIPT materials and who wish to test children on the SIPT as part of the case requirements may do so. Therapists will be guided through the interpretation process with the tests they apply and through cases provided in the modules.
