MODULE 6: EVIDENCE-BASED ASI INTERVENTION HANDS-ON PRACTICE AND REVIEW (Synchronous (sync) Virtual)
October 2-3, 2021 and October 16-17, 2021
Location: Zoom virtual meeting room.
Synchronous (sync) Virtual M6 is a livestream four-day course, developed as an option for therapists who wish to complete their Certificate in ASI during the COVID-19 pandemic. This version of M6 has been designed to approximate the experience of the usual onsite M6, focusing on clinical reasoning for the planning and implementation of evidenced-based ASI intervention. This course provides a review of the dynamic aspects of ASI intervention and mentor-guided practice through interactive case analysis. Participants will be able to clarify any questions they have about the information presented in the online instruction, review multiple intervention videos, and participate in small group activities and discussions to facilitate clinical reasoning. The course will utilize prerecorded live demo sessions from previous on-site M6 courses. Zoom classrooms with whole and small group teaching are utilized, with frequent opportunities for discussion and active learning.
